PSM- Architects boast of very seasoned professionals with long experience in architectural fields and who have designed and supervised many projects satisfactorily for various clients.
Key Staff
Peter Matinde is Managing Director and founder of PSM Architects Co. Limited in Tanzania. He is a holder of a
professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch) from Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom and Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Liverpool University. He is a chattered Architect and fully registered with the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB) in Tanzania.
Peter has more than 25 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He has worked with a number of British based companies in Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow and a number of prominent local firms, including Sumer Varma & Associates and Claus Bremer Associates.
He is expert in sophisticated CAD modeling. He is a master in using AutoCAD, 3DS Max and Eagle point. His extensive experiences include responsibility for major projects in office complexes, educational institutions, residential, hotels,
commercial and shopping centers and has been project manager for various major projects in Tanzania.
Some of the major works managed by Peter Matinde are the Elia Complex situated on the corner of Zanaki and Bibi Titi Mohamed Street, laboratories for 36 schools in all
Regions in Tanzania Mainland financed by African Development Bank, design for twenty three secondary schools in Zanzibar financed by World Bank, design for the two lecture halls, hostels for the Local Government Training Institute financed by the Government of Tanzania, Design of housing complex at Njiro in Arusha financed by NSSF, Uongozi Institute in Coast Region.
Mr. Sempoli has extensive experience in practice in Tanzania since graduation – in Architecture from the University College of Land and Architectural studies (UCLAS), Dar es Salaam Tanzania. He has 20 years of experience in practice in Tanzania since graduating. He has previous worked with some prominent locally based companies Claus Bremer and Associates.
The extensive experience include responsibility for major building projects in civil,Health, education, institutions, residential, commercial, office complexes. He is registered with the National Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB) in Tanzania. He is currently Associate Director at PSM Architects Co. Ltd.
Mr. Maro has extensive experience in practice in Tanzania since graduation – in Architecture from De Montfort Universi- ty, Leicester, United Kingdom. He has 7 years of experience in practice in Tanzania since graduating. He has previous worked with some prominent locally based companies Land- plan Icon (Epitome) and Grey Investment. The extensive ex- perience include responsibility for major building projects in civil, Health, education, institutions, residential, commercial, office complexes.
Mr. Chacha is a registered Architect in Tanzania. He has been engaged in many projects with various consultants across Tanzania. The extensive experience include respon- sibility for major building projects in civil, Health, education, institutions, residential, commercial, office complexes. He also a vast knowledge in computer aided programmes e.g. AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Cinema 4D + Maxwell Studio, HLR light Studio, Adobe Creative Suites, 3DS Max and other BMI softwares.
